The RMB standard of the international phase fee of PCT application from July 1, 2023

According to the Memorandum of Understanding on the Payment of Fees under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) signed between the State Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization, the State Intellectual Property Office will collect PCT international stage fees in accordance with the Renminbi (RMB) standards published by the World Intellectual Property Organization’s International Bureau.I. Renminbi Standards effective from July 1, 2023

Based on the RMB standards for PCT international stage fees effective from July 1, 2023, as published by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the State Intellectual Property Office will collect PCT international stage fees according to the following standards. PCT International Stage Fee Standards (Amount in RMB yuan)

(I) International application fees collected on behalf of the International Bureau

(II) Handling fees collected on behalf of the International Bureau 1560

If there is a need to adjust the standards due to significant exchange rate fluctuations or other reasons, it will be announced separately. II. Scope of Application This standard applies to international application fees received by the State Intellectual Property Office for PCT applications submitted and received on or after July 1, 2023 (including that day), as well as handling fees for PCT international preliminary examination requests received on or after July 1, 2023 (including that day). Apart from the fees collected on behalf of the International Bureau, the fee standards for search fees and other fees collected by the State Intellectual Property Office remain unchanged.
